El VIERNES 25 DE NOVIEMBRE PASADO EMPEZARON LAS REGATAS EN LOS JUEGOS BOLIVARIANOS DE PLAYA – IQUIQUE 2016.
The final stop of the EFPT Tour 2016 was the DAM-X event at the Zeil- and Surfcentrum Brouwersdam – an amazing event with great conditions and one of the most spectacular Freestyle shows of the year. Fanatic´s Arrianne Aukes finished second place at the event and wins her first European womens Freestyle Vice Champion Title, Adrien Bosson also ended up in second place for the year, which means he improved one position since 2015 and stated that he intends to keep on going this way to eventually become EFPT Champion!
With the wind failing to co-operate on the final day of racing at the PWA World Tour in La Torche, Fanatic´s Pierre Mortefon finishes the year as the Vice World Champion for the second year in a row and it seems only a matter of time before the Frenchman will go one better, but he will have to wait until next year to do that now! Well done Pierre and very close call!
Victor Fernandez is the PWA Wave World Champion 2016! Victor has been in our Fanatic team since 2002 and won his first World Title in 2010. He is the most consistent PWA Wave rider since many years, in 2016 he finished first in the Pozo and Tenerife World Cups and fourth on Sylt. He was close to his second World Title already several times and 5x Vice World Champ in the past but now he made it again! His supreme blend of powerful, stylish wave riding and clinical world class jumping setting him apart from the rest of his rivals. Well done Victor, very happy for you!
